Want to know what leadership looks like? Then just look to Hamilton County Schools. At Thursday’s meeting, the Board voted to re-commit to students and firmly support a foundation for learning. They saw past mere rhetoric and have given those who serve selflessly in our classrooms the opportunity to replenish, re-energize, and rededicate themselves afresh to teaching excellence. Hamilton County Education Association thanks the Board for its insight and empathy with those who have gone above and beyond for the school system. We commend Dr. Johnson and his entire administrative team for working with our local to keep quality instruction as a priority for our kids. HCEA can now only hope other school systems will follow the trail that has been blazed by Hamilton County Schools.
